SAP represents a huge domain of expertise and relations with other technologies like Oracle, Makelaarsuite, Operating systems and many others, so, to be clear I will point out some incidents that I see every day: SAP Support packages upgrades, databases upgrades, keeping CiVision and other applications up to date, connections between different applications or inside the application itself, Makelaarsuite installations/upgrades/backups/restore and many more.
Working at TSS-Yonder for PinkRoccade Local Government gave me the opportunity to be part of a great team, the experience of working in a business company and evolving as a person in my career.
My name is Calin Mihali, I am 25 years old and I live in a very beautiful city in Romania (Cluj-Napoca)
I am very passionate about computer science since I was a little boy. I graduated from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca - Automation and Computer Science. That’s why I became a computer science engineer working in the capital of IT in Romania and really love what I do.
Sports and having fun are two main activities that make me feel really good. In the past I practiced tennis for five years, and didn't miss any party I was invited to. Nowadays, I only play tennis occasionally, but still don't miss any parties (I think I have this in my blood). My third love is the whole world, my goal is to visit most part of it. I've already been in almost every country in Europe, except the North. My plan it's to expand my horizon on other continents also. Next year I’m hoping to visit the USA for three weeks.
My past -regarding my career- is quite short: I started at the age of 16 as a freelancer in web development, after that I worked in a specialized web development company in Cluj-Napoca for 1,5 years. Since 2014 I’m working at TSS-Yonder as a SAP Basis consultant.
Working at TSS-Yonder is like going to a friend's house, getting things done and having a good time as well.
I enjoy every morning; catch-up with my colleagues, every Fifa or tennis table match during the breaks, but most of all I enjoy all the friendships that I've made in the last three years.
I learn new things every day and this is the thing that attracts me the most, followed by the challenges I face in this environment.
The most memorable customer contact I’ve had was with Nunspeet. Definitely Nunspeet!
At the moment I was writing this interview I was in Holland, the SAP upgrade processes for Nunspeet systems were running. We planned a visit to this municipality, but what he didn’t know was that I was supposed to visit Nunspeet also. Though in in his last email he had sent me ended with: "See ya next week!". I cannot wait to meet him face-to-face, maybe he will tell me the winning lottery numbers.
Last, but not least, what’s on my bucket list..
- Get a girlfriend
- Adopt a dog
- Travel more
- Learn something new every day
- Make other people smile
Kind regards,
Calin Mihali
